I would like to know how many of you out there could say you would pledge to use no force against people who are doing no harm? Put your hands up (keep your hands up). Of you with your hands up, put your hand down if you misunderstood, and thought I didn't include government force in "pledging to use no force". Of you with your hands up, put your hand down if you would use government force against a woman to keep her unborn child alive. Of you with your hands up, put your hand down if you would use government force against that same woman to keep her from selling herself. Of you with your hands up, put your hand down if you would use government force to prevent people from growing, selling, or smoking pot. Of you with your hands up, put your hand down if you would use government force to remove guns from a house or car of a person who was not using them to cause harm. Of you with your hands up, put your hand down if you would use government force to stop a local poker game, football pool, numbers game, horse race by wire setup, crap game, or casino. Of you with your hands up, put your hand down if you would use government force to stop a gay marriage, a polygamous marriage, or a gay polygamous marriage, or if you would want to prevent them from having the same government benefits and rights as heterosexual monogamous marriage. Last, but not least, of you with your hands up, put your hand down if you would use government force to stop scabs from crossing picket lines, or force people to join unions or pay union dues against their will. Or force employers to pay any particular wage at all. You who are left are my "constituency". You are the people I will actually represent in office, in the sense of looking like you. The rest of you are forewarned. There is a "none of the above" option on the ballot. Use it if you like.
