All members of FAC are voting members. Voting is done by consensus. Motions are made, seconded, and if not objected to, passed by unanimous consent. Motions regarding the removal of a member or members require unanimous consent of all but the affected parties. These rules apply to both the physical meetings and the constant meeting of the steering committee in email. The steering committee has its own subset of guidelines for the use of email.
